With over two decades of experience spanning higher education, philanthropy, and information science, Samara brings a rare combination of analytical rigor and social intelligence to every engagement.
During her 13+ years at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Samara held executive roles in enrollment management, advancement, and continuous improvement—earning a reputation for her steady leadership, strategic mindset, and ability to turn complexity into clarity. Whether she’s leading strategic enrollment planning or facilitating culture change, Samara approaches each challenge with humility, curiosity, and a joyful sense of possibility.
A certified mediator and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Samara is known for building trust across silos, asking the right questions, and co-creating solutions that are both grounded and bold. Her background includes management of multimillion-dollar budgets, cross-functional teams, and institution-wide transformation efforts. She’s especially gifted at seeing connections where others see chaos—helping teams move from friction to flow.
